Le
Sorelle Bandiera
Below, from Italian Wikipedia,
with bad English translation:
Born as a quartet in 1970, a trio become the following
year; begin working as coriste the RCA Italiana, singing in many different
discs songwriters like Steve Earle, Francesco De Gregori, Renato Zero,
Oliver Onions (them in the choirs famous Dune Buggy) and Claudio Baglioni.
love/The man and the sparrow , scritta dai due cantautori Maurizio
Bigio e Stelio Gicca Palli . Simultaneously also self-starting, and
in 1972 with the Apollo publish their first 45 laps, Good morning
love / The man and the sparrow, written by two songwriters and Mauritius
Bigio Stelio Gicca Palli.
In 1977 begin to work with
Gianni Boncompagni, which presents in his television broadcast Discoring:
changing gender respect at the beginning, are dedicated to disco,
and manage to get a good base success giving voice to the group The
Camomile (which, in reality, only lends his image, a phenomenon that
will be imitated by many other divi of disk).
Baba Yaga . Same thing happens with the flag Sisters: Be entries in
further and other songs published on behalf of the famous trio en
travesti ante litteram discovered by Renzo Arbore are of Baba Yaga.
. Still Boncompagni ago hack into their 1979 ticker symbol Discoring.
In 1980 the trio melts because Patrizia Blacks prefer to
leave the musical environment; Sodani continue activities as a soloist
in 1982 and a public Q disc the same name, while Rita Mariano enters
as stable in the training choir of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma .

And a new documentary
(2008) had been made about the group:
THE FABULOUS FLAG SISTERS (tba)
How a boy from Perth became a drag super-star in the worlds most Catholic
nation. In 1977, three men in frocks became an overnight sensation
on Italian television. Irreverent, sexy and outrageous, they were
Le Sorelle Bandiera - The Flag Sisters. Out of drag, they were Tito
Le Duc (a Mexican), Mauro Bronchi (an Italian) and Neil Hansen, a
boy from Perth.
With countless TV appearances,
feature films and national tours, they were high flying and adored,
the paparazzi forever snapping at their high heels. They brought joy
to millions of fans at a time when Italy was a nation on the verge
of nervous breakdown, the Red Brigades and other radical groups bringing
terror to the streets.
In September 2007, on the eve of
the 30th anniversary of the 'birth' of The Flag Sisters, Australian
'Sister' Neil Hansen returned to Italy to reveal the intriguing story
behind their glittering success. Directed by Franco di Chiera (The
Joys of the Women, Hoover's Gold).
