  Again, I lucked in (knowing Michael Mitchell helped) and I was able to get on stage with the "real" photographers prior to the show to get some group pics....

    ...a much smaller group of artists and presenters than the year before were organized enough to assemble for the pic, but I can pick out in the top row, Dave Hall, Angela Motter, Scott Free, Barnes and John Boswell, behind Sonia and Mark Weigle. Next to John was Patrick Arena, Danny Pintauro (the kid from "Who's the Boss" who turned out gay), and, I don't know the others in that row, or anyone in the front row except, of course, the show's host and center square, Bruce Villanch...oh, yeah, the guy with just a towel was a presenter, representing the gratuitous musical "Naked Boys Singing." (if anyone can help identify the unknown others in this or the 1999 pic, please write me).
