Billie McAllister LP & CD Notes:

Two things of interest here, first, to learn of Bernie Hardison, and second,
that the writers apparently did not know McAllister was a female impersonator.
One of them, Martin Hawkins, contributed also to the notes for "Night Train to
Nashville," and those later notes do state McAllister was a female impersonator.
This got me into researching Hardison and I have a section on him at the page bottom.

From the LP liner notes:

Below, I'm sharing all the liner info, as this LP is hard to find

Bernard Hardison
or
Bernie Hardison

"Goodbye Blues* / Now or Never Blues*" Tennessee 120, 1952

"Hey Little Girl," Tennessee (#?)
"Love Me Baby / Yeah, It's True*" Excello 2020, 1953
"Too Much / Come To Me Baby" Republic 7111, 1955

* = I sure need the songs on mp3
and I'd love more info on the second Tennessee disc, and were there others?

[ above images are of reissue 45s ]

The above song is his claim to fame,
he recorded it two years before Elvis did,
so has appeared on some Elvis compilations

The above two are digital albums only, a shame, would love to see liner notes
