In September, 2003, I visited Los Angeles on vacation, and of course timed that trip so I could take in two Outmusic Open Mics. They are organized by John Torres and held at two different clubs in the area.One club, The Other Side (in Silverlake), is a piano bar, and at the Moonshadow they sing to tracks.
