This is just Part 1 of my latest Transgender Music Special, and there'll be another three hours
for October. This time I have interviews with Madsen Minax, Director of the film "Riot Acts," and
AJ Bryce, creator of the website Trans-Genre, and producer of that project's two CDs.
And then Hour 3 this month continues with much more music.

This is my 12th show focused on the music of Transgender Artists, and I try to make
them a resource for finding what artists are making music and to folks to hear as much as
I can share on these shows, now totaling over 21 hours, all archived.
You can find links to past shows at the bottom of the page.

I did the "math," and over the years on these 15 shows,
I've played 142 different TG artists, and over
350 different songs, some of them several times, and I routinely
include TG artists on most of my other shows

And please Click to Find a fascinating, and excellent blog by Julia Serano,
starting with the 9/8/11 entry, called "A 'Transsexual Versus Transgender' Intervention."
And also visit her website.

I "condensed" my interview with Madsen Minax down to about 8 minutes,
and submitted it to This Way Out. They aired the segment as part of
their 28-minute broadcast for the week of October 31st.
The "Riot Acts" segment starts at the 20:00 mark.
